About the job
Full time position for candidates with strong working knowledge of all interior and exterior repairs of apartments and office units, buildings and grounds. Will be part of a team responsible for the overall maintenance of DCHA owned rental properties throughout Davis County where the primary goals are to provide decent and safe housing to others and be an asset to our communities.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Plumbing
Electrical
Painting
Sheetrock
Sprinkler systems
Snow removal
Appliance repair
HVAC
Equipment servicing
Vacant unit make-ready
Requirements
Applicant must be able to:
Adhere to DCHA policies and procedures, safety procedures and Fair Housing laws
Work both independently and as a team member
Complete required paperwork
Work in a variety of environments
Be on-call 24/7 approximately every fourth week and during the snow season
Perform physical tasks (bend, lift up to 75 lbs, use stairs, etc)
Maintain professional image and attitude while working with residents, staff, vendors and contractors.
Applicant must have:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years work-related experience or training
Valid Utah Driver License and be insurable
Clean criminal record

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $25.00 based on experience
