Full time position with great pay and benefits! Will be part of a team responsible for the overall maintenance of DCHA owned properties throughout Davis County where the primary goals are to provide safe and affordable housing. Tasks include but are not limited to: plumbing, electrical, painting, sheet rock, carpentry, roofing, grounds maintenance, sprinkler systems, snow removal, appliance repair, HVAC, equipment servicing and making vacant units ready for new tenants.
Requirements
Must have a strong working knowledge of interior and exterior repairs of apartment and office units, buildings and grounds.
Applicant must be able to adhere to DCHA policies and procedures, Fair Housing laws, complete required paperwork, work both independently and as a team member, work in a variety of environments, be on call 24/7 every third week and during snow season, perform physical tasks (bend, lift up to 75 lbs, use stairs, etc.), maintain professional image and attitude while working with residents, staff, vendors and contractors.
Two years of work-related experience or training is required. Section 3 preference will be given to qualified applicants. Salary commensurate with experience.
